For the most part applying liquid Lipstick is pretty straight forward. You choose the colour you want, apply and then go!
But for a really pristine vivid look, we thought that we would share these small but effective tips with you and how to get the most from your lipstick.
-Firstly, making sure your lips are prepped can make for a much smoother application and overall look. To ensure this, you can apply a lip scrub to your lips first or apply a lip balm at least 15 mins prior to applying your liquid lipstick. Of course this is completely optional.
-Apply Foundation to prep lips (again optional) this makes your liquid lipstick appear more true to colour and gives it a more fixed effect too!
- Liquid Lipstick does not necessarily require a lip liner, but if that is your desired look, always line your lips first before application of lipstick (many people make the common mistake of lining their lips as a final step. This is not effective and can waste product) lining before ensures an effortless blend.
- Always remember a little at first can go a long way! start off small, by applying in thin layers. The more layers you apply the more opaque your coverage will be.
Fun Tip: If you feel that you have layered on a bit too much, you can pat down the excess using your finger. (This will smooth down any clumps or excess lipstick)
-Lastly use a tissue or blotting paper to fix into place and you're then good to go❣️
